It's Snowing!

We recently had some snow, so amidst all the school closings and mad grocery runs, we managed a trek out onto our cul-de-sac for some sledding. Caleb was having a wonderful time playing in the snow and sledding until I requested a picture with him after we sledded together. He wanted nothing of the sort! The picture was captured despite his protest, but afterward he threw himself to the side of the rode face down in the snow! Well, that ended the sledding for the day. He was happy to try again the next day although there wasn't enough snow left to be able to sled much.
Oh the anticipation! It was funny trying to convince Caleb of the need for layering one's clothing.
Angel-making anyone? Not enough snow to fall backwards onto the ground without giving yourself a concussion.Didn't really want to be in this picture either.Check out that snow outfit!
We checked, there were no sleds size 6-9 months.Bringing out the big guns! This was Jeremy's family's sled when he was growing up. Worked like a charm!Eli, "I am so over this snow thing."And they're off!The picture that ended it all!

We tried to find a plastic toboggan sled at Wal-Mart right before the snow came. I don't know if they were sold out or just didn't have any. We saw tons in Gatlinburg over the weekend, but we didn't have room to bring it back.

I'm not sure if Jeremy's grin or Eli's is better.
