Caleb was thrilled to find some new pets outside. He absolutely loved the catepillars! I think he had about 5 crawling on him at one time. He also found an inch worm which he let crawl on him.
Grandmama found this cute little turtle while walking and saved it for Caleb. When Jeremy asked him what he wanted to name it, Caleb promptly replied, "We'll call him Doozer." Hilarious to us because Doozer has been Caleb's nickname since he was a newborn. We released the turtle a few days after hanging out with us. We thought it needed to be in the wild.It was so beautiful and warm the last week of April that we took Caleb to the playground for a picnic. He had a blast getting to play on the slide and other equipment.Going down the slide was not enough for Caleb. Pretty soon he figured out how to climb back up. We were pretty impressed at his determination!
Please excuse my apparel; I'm somewhere around 36 weeks, so if it fits, it will have to do! Plus, it was hotter than expected. I couldn't resist a picture with my little man though!

Caleb had started telling Jeremy he wanted to go to work with him and since Jeremy had to wear a tie on rotation at the hospital, Caleb also had to wear a tie. It was hilarious! It was sad too, of course, because Jeremy couldn't take Caleb and once Caleb had his shoes on, he really thought he was going to go with Jeremy.
Jeremy's last day of rotation for pharmacy school! Yahoo! Caleb and I are so proud of him. We celebrated by going out to the Cheesecake Factory while my mom and brother kept Caleb. We had a great time and the food was fantastic! He now has the month of May off with graduation on May 29, which just so happens to be little Eli's due date. Actually, he is not off per se as I have a honey-do list for him a mile long and he also has to study for boards. Nevertheless, Caleb and I will enjoy having him home for a few days before baby brother arrives!

Congratulations, Jeremy! It has certainly been a long road, but I know it will be well worth it.
