18 month pictures

My brother Josh took these pictures of Caleb today for his 18 month shots. Caleb didn't want to be in one place for very long which proved challenging for my brother and his wife. I can't believe they are able to do this in their house- they make such a great team! I wish Jeremy could have gone with us for a family shot, but he had to work this weekend.

Funny Face

Caleb loves to stick out his tongue at us. He usually waits to put his tongue back in his mouth until everyone in the room has noticed him and stuck their tongue back out at him.

New Wheels

Our neighbors gave Caleb this great toy and he loves it. A couple of days after riding on it he managed to sideswipe the house and gave himself a nice abrasion on his shin.

Good Friends

I recently had a night out with some good friends to celebrate a 3oth birthday! It's hard to believe I have been friends with these girls since before high school. We all went to church together and have somehow managed to keep in touch over the years. Cara (the birthday girl) lives in Nebraska and Carly lives in Chattanooga. That is Carly's adorable son Caden in the picture- who Caleb wanted to pinch.

Just a Swingin'

Thank goodness for warm weather! It has been great taking Caleb outside to play these past few weeks. He absolutely loves dirt and rocks. He especially loves picking up handfuls of dirt and creating his own little piles. It has been fun working in the flowerbeds with him even though it does create double work sometimes because he likes to undo things I've just done. Jeremy managed to occupy him with the swing on this particular day.
